Outreach Services

Health and wellness is inherently tied to household stability and access to basic human needs such as proper nutrition, clothing, and shelter. Many of the citizens of San Angelo have established or personally support various outreach programs that are designed accommodate our neighbors in need. If you are having trouble meeting some of the basic needs we hope that you will take advantage of some of the outreach services available in our area. Many of these services also operate as private non profit organizations and would be happy to accept anyone that is looking to volunteer within our own community.

Rust Street Ministries

Rust Street Ministries is organized by Johnson Street Church of Christ. They collect food, clothing, and home amenities that are given out free of charge to those in need. Financial counseling is also available on site.

Children's Advocacy Center of Tom Green County

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Tom Green County is an outreach program that supports children and their families in the Concho Valley. The serve as a champion for children that have been a victim of abuse or neglect. Additionally they also provide services and counseling to help strengthen families for years to come.
